First and foremost, Redfern were brilliant! They appointed Paul as the project manager to handle all of the repair work we needed and having a single point of contact was what I was looking for after a somewhat stressful and prolonged insurance claim.

Redfern were asked to tender for the work as part of a claim for a severe water damage along with 2 other companies. After meeting Paul on site and talking through his approach to the repair I insisted that the insurance company use Redfern as they were very detailed in their quotation with a clear breakdown of all the work to be undertaken, costs involved, timescales and materials - even down to brand names to be used. The other companies involved in the tender process failed badly in all of these areas and could not answer some very simple questions. Paul was great in explaining and answering questions I posed in detail and was hands on from start to finish in managing all of the team involved. Personally, this helped me take a lot of the stress away and enabled me to concentrate on my own work knowing Paul had it all in hand as the project manager.

I have very exacting and high standards that some companies often find difficult to work with and adhere to these days but Redfern were first class in meeting these standards and handled all of my requirements with the utmost professionalism. Paul was always on hand if I needed to reach him and didn't just operate 9-5 hours often taking calls after hours and at weekends.

From day one of the work beginning I was impressed with how clean and tidy Redferns team were. I was fully expecting there to be a lot of "Building Mess" and dust during the repair as the ceiling had to be replaced and the walls taken down, but not so with Redfern. Paul's team took pride in their work and cleaned up each day they finished ensuring dust and mess was kept to an absolute minimum.

In particular Pauls open, honest and friendly approach put me at ease and help build trust quickly that a first-class repair would be delivered, and so it was.

Rarey do I take the time to write out references for companies as too often I am let down by them or they simply do not impress me. I felt that this was the least I could do as I feel companies like Redfern need to be encouraged for doing things the right way and given credit for a job well done.
